Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blink Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blink Gee looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blink Gee!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Bravo with that takedown attempt.
Gee moves in looking to clinch but Bravo pushes him off.
Bravo tries to counter with a takedown but Gee is quick to defend against it.

Gee forces Bravo back against the cage and clinches.
Bravo jumps guard but Gee stands there with Bravo around his waist. Bravo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gee misses with an elbow over the top.
Bravo avoids the elbow strike from Gee, against the cage.
Gee lands an elbow just above Bravo 's eye.
Gee dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Gee manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Gee receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bravo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bravo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gee prevents it.
We've been hearing reports that Bravo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Gee lands an elbow inside.
Gee pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bravo tries to pull guard but Gee won't allow it.
Bravo tries to score a body lock takedown but Gee shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bravo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gee lands an elbow inside.
Gee misses with a knee strike.
Gee connects with a knee to the head.
Bravo wants a takedown.
Gee with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bravo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gee comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Eddie Bravo has been cut.

Bravo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gee prevents it.
Gee misses with a knee strike.
Gee looks winded!

Bravo is trying to trip Gee. He has hold of a leg but Gee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bravo persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gee keeping moving, preventing Bravo from controlling successfully.
Gee looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bravo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Gee wants to stand but Bravo is controlling the position.
Bravo lands a couple of digs.
Gee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bravo wants to control from the top but Gee keeps moving.

Gee throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bravo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gee wants to get back to his feet but Bravo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bravo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bravo postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gee looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bravo is looking for a kimura but Gee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bravo to get the leverage.
Gee wants to improve his position but Bravo is controlling well.
Bravo working the head and body with strikes.

Bravo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gee is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
