The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Damme as he avoids it easily.
Damme is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Damme lands a big uppercut and Barnett crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Barnett looks OK. Damme waves Barnett back to his feet!
Barnett is rocked!
It looks like Jamal Barnett has been cut.
Damme feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Barnett crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Van Damme!
Van Damme bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
