Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandikuu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hyde quickly recovers to half guard.
Hyde wants to stand back up but Bandikuu manages to pass into side control.
Hyde is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Hyde is not content to let Bandikuu control the position.
Hyde dodges the ground and pound from Bandikuu.
Bandikuu tries to move to full mount but Hyde actually manages to regain half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bandikuu is pressing down on Hyde's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hyde is holding on for now.
Hyde is trying to stand up here but Bandikuu is controlling him well.
Hyde really is a fat lump.

Bandikuu is looking to take a break and control but Hyde is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hyde might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hyde takes the fight into the clinch.
Hyde pulls guard successfully.
Hyde keeping moving, preventing Bandikuu from controlling successfully.
Hyde manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bandikuu manages to get himself to full guard.
Bandikuu looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hyde puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bandikuu is trying to control but Hyde manages to pass to mount!
Bandikuu is working to get back to half guard.
Bandikuu reaches up and pulls Hyde towards him, trying to control the position. Hyde manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Bandikuu! Bandikuu tries to roll over - now Hyde is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Bandikuu has to tap out! Great work there by Hyde!
