Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kleofas Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kleofas Koltun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Slade Wilson! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koltun looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilson is just out of range. Wilson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Koltun is landing a low percentage of strikes. Koltun thuds a left hand into Wilson's body. Koltun throws a low kick but Wilson avoids it. A jab from Koltun does it's job there. Koltun moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Koltun does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Koltun lands with a cross. Koltun misses with a looping right. Wilson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wilson misses with a wild combination.
Koltun pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Wilson works Koltun's body with a nice hook. Koltun catches Wilson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kleofas Koltun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilson digs a good body shot into Koltun's ribs. Wilson throws a lazy right hand but Koltun sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson misses the shot to the body. Koltun throws a right hand that Wilson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilson also avoids with ease. Wilson with the counter takedown but Koltun avoids it easily. Wilson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wilson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Koltun defends it well. We've been told by Koltun's head coaches at Commonwealth that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Koltun uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wilson. Koltun lands a head kick!
Koltun scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wilson in his tracks. Koltun moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Wilson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Koltun looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilson is just out of range. Wilson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Koltun swings for the body but Wilson moves out of range.
Koltun lands with an uppercut that bounces Wilson off the cage and back into range. Koltun misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koltun throws a body punch but Wilson moves out of range. Wilson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Koltun. Koltun misses with a shot to the body and Wilson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters circling - Koltun throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wilson lands with a good body shot. Koltun is looking to clinch but Wilson is avoiding it.
Koltun connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Koltun throws a leg kick but Wilson moved away. Wilson throws a big shot that misses. Wilson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wilson misses the shot to the body. Sloppy strikes from Koltun. Those never looked like landing. Wilson defending well as Koltun loads up on a big left hand. Koltun lands a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koltun stalks Wilson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilson's face. Wilson staggers backwards, shaken. Koltun avoids the body shot from Wilson.
Koltun throws a jab but it's blocked by Wilson. Wilson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Koltun lands with a right hand. Koltun takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A combination from Koltun does no damage. Wilson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wilson misses with a straight right. Koltun scores with a punch to the head. Koltun takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wilson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. This has been an exciting period of action! Koltun tries a head kick but it misses.
Koltun shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Koltun keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Wilson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Koltun is breathing heavily. Wilson cracks a nice hook into Koltun's ribs. A punch combination from Wilson misses. An attempted straight right counter from Koltun misses the target. Koltun will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Koltun throws a lazy right hand but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Koltun misses with a hook. Wilson misses with a looping right. Koltun moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Koltun bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wilson's head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koltun ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Koltun finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Wilson's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Koltun falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slade Wilson!
