33 - 58 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Veli Schwarzeneg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Typhaze! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwarzeneg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Typhaze's guard. Typhaze is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Schwarzeneg stands and steps away. Typhaze gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Typhaze has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Schwarzeneg shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Typhaze but Typhaze pushes him off and we're back to square one. King Typhaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab by Typhaze. Jab by Typhaze. Nice straight punches there by Typhaze. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Typhaze. Typhaze scores with a kick to the midsection. The fight moves into the clinch position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Schwarzeneg circles away from the clinch attempt and Schwarzeneg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Typhaze's guard. Typhaze is trying to keep Schwarzeneg in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Typhaze is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Schwarzeneg defends well. Typhaze is working an open guard so Schwarzeneg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Typhaze goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Typhaze swinging wildly here.

Typhaze gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Schwarzeneg jumps guard but Typhaze turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Typhaze tries to work over Schwarzeneg's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Typhaze misses with a hook from the clinch. Schwarzeneg pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwarzeneg is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Typhaze throws a big right hand that misses. Typhaze trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schwarzeneg lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Schwarzeneg distracts Typhaze with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Schwarzeneg gets to his feet - Typhaze follows without any prompting. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King Typhaze dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Schwarzeneg shoots in looking for a takedown but Typhaze manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Schwarzeneg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Typhaze lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Schwarzeneg takes one on the button. Typhaze scores with the left hand. Schwarzeneg knows he should have avoided that one.

Oh Schwarzeneg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Typhaze fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Schwarzeneg has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Schwarzeneg shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Schwarzeneg controlling the pace. Typhaze wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Typhaze missing with punches from the bottom.
Schwarzeneg seems to have got his legs back now. Schwarzeneg is looking to advance position but Typhaze won't allow it. Typhaze tries to get to full guard but Schwarzeneg has control of the leg. Schwarzeneg scores with a couple of good hammerfists. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schwarzeneg is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Typhaze sees it coming and defends easily.

Schwarzeneg takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Schwarzeneg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Schwarzeneg is figuring out what he wants to do next. Typhaze wants to get back to full guard but Schwarzeneg has passed into side control. Typhaze prevents Schwarzeneg from improving position. Schwarzeneg creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Schwarzeneg cracks Typhaze with a big elbow.

Typhaze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Typhaze is looking for a triangle but Schwarzeneg pushes his legs off easily.

Schwarzeneg punishing his opponent with strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Schwarzeneg prevents Typhaze from getting the reversal. Schwarzeneg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Typhaze can do to turn this around? The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Schwarzeneg cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A nice elbow there by Schwarzeneg. Typhaze in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Typhaze tries to reverse the position but Schwarzeneg maintains control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee warns Typhaze that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
