Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Knope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Ka Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bong has chosen ULTRAMAGNETIC MCs - Ego Trippin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, El Ka Bong!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knope rushes Bong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Knope throws an elbow but it misses.
Knope misses with a knee to the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Knope.
It looks like El Ka Bong has been cut.
A bit of stalling here from Knope.
Bong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Knope pushes Bong up against the cage in a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Knope pushes Bong back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Bong turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Knope throws Bong to one side and escapes!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Knope has Bong up against the cage in a clinch.
Bong is working for takedown but Knope is calmly controlling the position for now.

Knope has hold of one of Bong's legs. Bong is fighting the takedown attempt but Knope gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Knope stands up over Bong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Knope throws a big elbow that misses.
Knope trying to control the position from guard on top but Bong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bong tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Knope is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Knope is one step ahead there.
Knope trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Knope is in close to Bong's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Knope seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bong is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bong looking for a guillotine here but Knope defends easily.
Bong is looking to sweep but instead, Knope has passed into half guard.
Bong is pressing down on Knope's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Knope with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bong keeping moving, preventing Knope from controlling successfully.

Knope content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Knope avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Knope is working Bong over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Knope is one step ahead there.
Knope trying to control but Bong is working from the bottom.
Knope has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bong had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Knope defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Knope dominated that round.
The cut man is working on El Ka Bong's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Knope tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bong uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Knope has time to react.
Sloppy strikes from Knope. Those never looked like landing.
Knope gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bong.
Knope throws a right and a left that Bong avoids nicely.
Knope tries to clinch but Bong is having none of it.
Bong changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Knope scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Knope tries to clinch up but Bong circles away and keeps his distance.
Knope blocks a jab.
Knope went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Knope has managed to clinch.
Knope scores with a nice hook to the head.
Knope looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Knope lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Bong wants to break free but Knope has control.
Knope lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bong backwards.
The cut above El Ka Bong's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body punch from Knope - that landed with a thud.
Knope lands a shoulder strike.
Knope scores with a hook to the body.

Bong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Knope has him pressed against the cage.
Knope works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Bong is breathing heavily.
Nice elbow from Knope.
Knope lands a nice shot to the body.
Knope lands a body punch.
Knope holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Knope throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Knope gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Knope looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bong tries to roll over but Knope keeps him under control.

Knope seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knope slows the pace down in half guard.

Knope is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Knope is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bong defends it well.
Knope is keen to just control but Bong is a slippery customer.
Knope looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Knope seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ground and pound from Knope.
Knope throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Knope is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

El Ka Bong's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at El Ka Bong's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ben Knope!
An out of breath Ben Knope thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
