PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Founder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Lightshock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lightshock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ride The lightning-Metallica. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Founder shoots for a double leg takedown but Lightshock sprawls well. He's pushed Founder's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Founder is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lightshock defends it well.

Founder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lightshock had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Founder is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lightshock Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Founder's back instead.
