The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin goes for a double leg but Michaels avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Michaels continues to drive forward.
Michaels closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Austin to the mat! Austin manages to get full guard.
