Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keith Thornton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sangram Singh!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thornton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Singh tries for a takedown but Thornton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Thornton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Singh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Thornton works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Singh tries to bench press Thornton off him but Thornton keeps the position.
Singh is pushing Thornton's head away, looking to escape. Thornton manages to hold on to the position though.

Thornton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Singh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Singh is looking to regain half guard here but Thornton keeps moving and retains side control.

Singh is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Thornton drops back looking for a leg! Singh is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Singh manages to kick Thornton off! Thornton jumps back into Singh's guard.

Singh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Thornton stacks Singh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Thornton!
