Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Micah Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Karel Bechyna! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bechyna dives in for a single leg takedown but Hill sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hill is looking for a counter combo. Bechyna looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hill is fending him off so far but Bechyna persists. Nope, Hill circles away and we're back to standing. Hill is looking to counter the offense by Bechyna and move into the clinch. Bechyna pushes Hill up against the cage in a clinch. Hill drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bechyna gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Micah Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karel Bechyna. Hill jumps guard but Bechyna stands there with Hill around his waist. Hill gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill tries to pull guard but Bechyna won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bechyna tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hill just stands there and leans against the cage. Bechyna throws an elbow but it misses.
Hill blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hill jumps guard but Bechyna stands there with Hill around his waist. Hill gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hill tries to break the clinch but Bechyna is controlling the position. Hill tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bechyna just stands there and leans against the cage. Bechyna jumps guard but Hill stands there with Bechyna around his waist. Bechyna gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hill blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hill throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bechynas head. Hill is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Hill has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bechyna uses from the top position. Bechyna has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hill is proving hard to escape from. Bechyna throws an elbow that misses. Hill uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bechyna's guard. Nice move by Hill!
Bechyna is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill is looking to work some ground and pound but Bechyna has wrist control. Bechyna is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bechyna wants to control but Hill passes easily into half guard.
Bechyna wants to control the action here but instead Hill manages to pass to full mount! Hill could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hill scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like Karel Bechyna has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bechyna tries to hold on but Hill pushes him away. Bechyna is looking to get to half guard. Hill working Bechyna over with strikes here. Hill landing shots from mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bechyna tries to hold on but Hill pushes him away. Hill in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Micah Hill dominated that round. The cut man is working on Karel Bechyna's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bechyna. Bechyna rushes Hill and presses him up against the cage. Bechyna managing to block the knees to the body from Hill.
Hill is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bechyna can do to turn this around? Bechyna ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bechyna no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hill loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hill controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hill drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hill jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bechyna trying to keep a closed guard but Hill is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hill drops back looking for a leg! Bechyna is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bechyna manages to kick Hill off! Hill jumps back into Bechyna's guard. Bechyna throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nice takedown defense from Hill. No joy for Bechyna on that attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bechyna fails with the takedown. Bechyna shoots and misses and Hill counters by clinching up. Micah Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karel Bechyna. Bechyna is breathing heavily. Bechyna has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hill avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bechyna tries to pull guard but Hill won't allow it.
Hill blocks a body shot from Bechyna. Hill manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hill wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Bechyna looking to sit in guard and control but Hill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hill makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bechyna is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hill is controlling him. Hill lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hill lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The cut above Karel Bechyna's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bechyna has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hill is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bechyna. Hill working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Karel Bechyna's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
