Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordon Gonzales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamal Bacchus! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bacchus misses with a head kick.
Bacchus plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Jordon Gonzales has been cut. A head kick by Bacchus misses and Gonzales counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bacchus won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gonzales sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bacchus is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gonzales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bacchus on the ground. Bacchus is looking to regain half guard here but Gonzales keeps moving and retains side control. Bacchus is still trying to improve position. Gonzales swings around for an armbar but Bacchus sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gonzales's guard. Bacchus forces his way into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bacchus is trying to work for a kimura but Gonzales is defending well.

Gonzales flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Bacchus has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gonzales defend it? Bacchus steps over the head and cranks it - Gonzales is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bacchus!
