Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spoko Kapusta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cinquente Quentcin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Spoko Kapusta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cinquente Quentcin!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quentcin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Quentcin prevents Kapusta from escaping the position.
Kapusta is looking for a sweep.
Quentcin fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Kapusta is looking to reverse the position.
Kapusta tries to escape but Quentcin is in control.
Quentcin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kapusta is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Quentcin drives through and clinches with Kapusta against the cage.

Kapusta tries to score a body lock takedown but Quentcin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Quentcin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kapusta is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Quentcin has picked Kapusta up - he's going for a ride! Quentcin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kapusta is refusing to be controlled, as Quentcin sits in half guard.
Quentcin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Quentcin is looking to take a break and control but Kapusta is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Quentcin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Kapusta to stand up.
Quentcin fails to land the takedown.
Kapusta throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Quentcin darts in and clinches Kapusta up against the cage.

Quentcin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Quentcin manages to end up in side control.

Kapusta sneaks back into half guard.
Quentcin wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kapusta wants to get back to full guard.
Quentcin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kapusta is trying to maintain the position but Quentcin is very close to passing his half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kapusta is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Quentcin jumps into side control!
You can see the frustration on Kapusta's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Quentcin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Kapusta is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Quentcin off and has taken his back!

Kapusta has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Quentcin has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Kapusta is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kapusta is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

You get the feeling that Quentcin really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Kapusta pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Kapusta moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Quentcin has worked his arm free - good work by Quentcin!

Kapusta is looking to take a break and control but Quentcin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Quentcin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Quentcin is looking to control Kapusta's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Quentcin avoid being mounted?

Kapusta stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Quentcin has his takedown stuffed
and Kapusta makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Quentcin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Kapusta counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Kapusta wanted to stand there but Quentcin had control of the position.
Quentcin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kapusta has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Quentcin is proving hard to escape from.
Kapusta has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Quentcin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kapusta can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Quentcin keeping moving, preventing Kapusta from controlling successfully.

Quentcin wants to sweep here but Kapusta controlling him for the moment.

Kapusta gets to his feet. Quentcin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Quentcin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Quentcin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Quentcin throws a right and a left that Kapusta avoids nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kapusta stuffs the takedown.
Kapusta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Quentcin is fending him off so far but Kapusta persists. Nope, Quentcin circles away and we're back to standing.

and Quentcin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kapusta!

Quentcin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kapusta is wriggling around trying to escape.
Quentcin landing strikes from the mount and Kapusta is in trouble!

Quentcin is working for a guillotine from mount but Kapusta frees his head quite easily.
Quentcin avoids the attempt from Kapusta to control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Quentcin trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kapusta knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quentcin on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Quentcin has control of Kapusta's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kapusta regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kapusta tries to hold on but Quentcin pushes him away.

Quentcin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
You get the feeling that Kapusta really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kapusta wants to hold on but Quentcin pushes him away.
Kapusta is looking to improve his position but Quentcin isn't that keen on the idea.
Kapusta regains half guard.
Quentcin lands with a punch from half guard.

Quentcin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kapusta defends it well.
Quentcin is controlling the pace.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cinquente Quentcin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Quentcin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
