Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andriv Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva avoids the body shot from Sanchez.
Silva tries to clinch but Sanchez moves out of range.

Sanchez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sanchez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sanchez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Silva tries to land knees in the clinch but Sanchez avoids the damage to the body.

Sanchez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Sanchez eventually gives up the hold.

Sanchez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sanchez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.

Well Sanchez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
