Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hessu Suihkija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vesa Asikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suihkija kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff . The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asikainen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Suihkija but Suihkija pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Asikainen stuffs the takedown attempt from Suihkija. Suihkija gets slowly back to his feet.
Suihkija shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Asikainen sprawls well. Asikainen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Suihkija gets slowly back to his feet.
Suihkija clinches up with Asikainen and pushes him back against the cage.
Suihkija drops down looking for an ankle pick but Asikainen pulls his leg out and moves away.

Suihkija takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Suihkija has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Suihkija looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Asikainen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Suihkija is working away from the top position though.

Suihkija has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Suihkija's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
