Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Con Waterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ambrogio Ballestrazzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waterson comes into the arena with Oasis - Roll With It blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ballestrazzi's choice of entrance music: Foxes - Holding Onto Heaven. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ambrogio Ballestrazzi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballestrazzi throws a poor cross that misses
and Waterson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ballestrazzi's knee momentarily.
Waterson throws a lazy uppercut
and Ballestrazzi counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ballestrazzi looks to land a right hand but Waterson moved out of range.
Ballestrazzi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ballestrazzi throws a lazy head kick
and Waterson counters with an inside leg kick.
Waterson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Ambrogio Ballestrazzi has been cut.
Waterson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ballestrazzi throws a lazy uppercut
letting Waterson counter with a right hand.
Ballestrazzi is rocked!
Ballestrazzi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ballestrazzi moves out of range of the strikes.
Ballestrazzi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Watersons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice jab there from Waterson.

Waterson misses with a wild body shot.
Ballestrazzi steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Ballestrazzi scores with a nice strike.
Ballestrazzi fails with a takedown attempt.
Waterson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ballestrazzi looks to land a right hand but Waterson moved out of range.
Ballestrazzi throws a sloppy body shot
and Waterson counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Ballestrazzi has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Con Waterson!
After winning the bout, Con Waterson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
