Lopez has managed to clinch.
Artist jumps guard and drags Lopez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Artist isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lopez stacks Artist on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lopez!
Artist regains half guard.
Lopez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Artist. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Artist looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Artist is looking to control Lopez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Artist avoid being mounted?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Artist has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Lopez. Oh but Artist has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Lopez goes limp - he's gone! Artist jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
