The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mironov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hammet is trying to defend but Mironov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hammet is looking to escape.
Mironov moves nicely into side control.
Mironov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hammet is pushing Mironov's head away, looking to escape. Mironov manages to hold on to the position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mironov taking a break here but Hammet is having none of it and regains half guard.
Hammet scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mironov manages to mount him!

Mironov cracks Hammet with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hammet bucks Mironov off and manages to get back to his feet!

Mironov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hammet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mironov somewhat.
Hammet lands a left and a right that sends Mironov crashing to the canvas! Hammet dives into mount looking to finish!
Mironov is rocked!
It looks like Sergei Mironov has been cut.
Hammet postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Mironov out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Hammet goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
