Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bob Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Stick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Bob Bob had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Bob Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Stick! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob Bob checks a low kick from Stick. Bob Bob misses the shot to the body. Stick changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. A cross from Bob Bob lands. Bob Bob stuns Stick with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Stick or perhaps it was just good defense by Bob Bob, which made it look bad. Stick uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bob Bob. Stick is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Stick throws a jab when Bob Bob was well out of range. Bob Bob swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Stick tries for a takedown but Bob Bob circles away easily enabling Bob Bob to counter with a crisp jab. Stick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bob Bob sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stick somewhat. Bobby Bob Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Stick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bob Bob uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stick. Bob Bob slaps away a takedown attempt from Stick, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob Bob looks to land a combination but Stick avoids it well. Stick looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bob Bob gets caught flat footed, as Stick shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bob Bob might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bob Bob is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stick working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bob Bob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bob Bob tries to get out of the position. Stick throws a big right hand that misses. Stick working some strikes from top position. Stick is working Bob Bob over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Stick with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bob Bob avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stick has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stick throwing strikes from guard but Bob Bob blocks nicely. Bob Bob wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Stick is now in half guard. Stick sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bob Bob defending well though. Stick trying to control the pace. Stick is looking to take a break and control but Bob Bob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stick scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Stick working Bob Bob over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stick throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Stick trying to control from half guard but Bob Bob is working away. Stick throwing shots but Bob Bob is blocking nicely. Stick takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stick winds up and cracks Bob Bob with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bob Bob wants to improve his position but Stick is controlling well.
Stick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stick is thwarting Bob Bob's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stick working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bob Bob is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stick seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Stick takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stick working the head and body with strikes. Stick looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bob Bob with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ground and pound from Stick. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stick looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Stick is thwarting Bob Bob's attempts to control the position. Ground and pound from Stick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bob Bob tries to roll over but Stick keeps him under control. Stick missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Stick dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stick fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stick. Stick throws a chopping leg kick but Bob Bob manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Stick uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bob Bob. Bob Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bob Bob with a nice cross. Stick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bobby Bob Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Stick. A combination from Bob Bob does no damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stick steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bob Bob. Stick shoots in looking for a takedown but Bob Bob manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stick's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stick shoots in and gets a takedown into Bob Bob's guard. Bob Bob is wriggling around but Stick manages to pass to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stick missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Stick is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Stick is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Stick scoring with strikes to the body and head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stick connects with a nice short shot to Bob Bob's temple. Stick throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stick wants to take a breather but Bob Bob is having none of it. Stick working Bob Bob over with strikes. Stick throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stick lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob Bob avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stick. Stick working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bob Bob! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
