Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Strickland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonah Strickland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Nichols! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strickland manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nichols on his heels. He'll look to pass Nichols's guard now, I'm sure. Nichols has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Strickland has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Strickland breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Strickland stuffs the takedown. Nichols throws a low kick but it's checked well by Strickland. Nichols fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nichols fails with the takedown. Strickland appears to be looking for a big counter. Jonah Strickland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Nichols. Nichols throws a head kick but Strickland moves out of range.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Nichols enables Strickland to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nichols manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nichols is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Strickland dives into side control.
Strickland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nichols tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nichols tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Strickland presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Strickland is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Strickland extends the arm and Nichols is forced to tap!
