The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cobb as he jumps to the side.

Cobb rushes Smith and presses him up against the cage.

Cobb gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Smith wants to improve his position but Cobb is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Cobb wants to take a breather but Smith is having none of it.

Smith is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cobb has his hands clasped together but Smith extends and breaks Cobb's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Smith.
