Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Cosmo Starstryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl De Groot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Groot has chosen London as his entrance music. Karl De Groot is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starstryder checks the leg kick nicely there.
De Groot moves out of range of the body kick from Starstryder.

Starstryder dips to his left and cracks De Groot with an uppercut!
Starstryder stalks De Groot and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into De Groot's face. De Groot staggers backwards, shaken.
Starstryder misses with a body kick.
De Groot throws a hook but Starstryder avoids it easily.
De Groot avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Starstryder throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Starstryder tests De Groot's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Starstryder throws a good cross that connects.
Starstryder scoring well with a low kick there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A swing and a miss from Starstryder.
De Groot appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Starstryder throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that De Groot has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Starstryder is looking to slow De Groot down with leg kicks.

De Groot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Starstryder was well out of range. Poor timing from De Groot.

De Groot punishes Starstryder's body with a nice straight punch.

Starstryder cracks De Groot with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

and Starstryder connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Starstryder slips under a jab from De Groot.
De Groot connects with an inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

De Groot is rocked!
Starstryder closes the distance and lands a lead uppercut that stumbles De Groot back against the ropes! Starstryder follows up with a jab and a huge straight right that knocks De Groot out cold! What a finish! Starstryder looks absolutely delighted, as he should do! Congratulations that man!
