Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yannick Abdoul!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Abdoul quickly recovers to half guard.
Abdoul is trying to maintain the position but Jacobs is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jacobs lands a nice short elbow.
Jacobs wants to control but Abdoul is keeping him busy.
Jacobs slows the pace down in half guard.
Abdoul wants to stand back up but Jacobs manages to pass into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abdoul is not content to let Jacobs control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jacobs throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Abdoul throws a leg kick that misses.
Abdoul takes the fight into the clinch.
Jacobs gets control of Abdoul's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jacobs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Abdoul wants to control from the top but Jacobs keeps moving.
Jacobs is working an open guard so Abdoul takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Abdoul closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Abdoul lands in his opponent's guard.
Jacobs pushes Abdoul off and scrambles back to his feet.
Yannick Abdoul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abdoul scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Abdoul throws a good cross that connects.
Jacobs walks into a left hand.
Jacobs is rocked!
It looks like Roscoe Jacobs has been cut.
Jacobs is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Abdoul doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Jacobs crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Jacobs's bad books for that mishap!
