Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Storm Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Storm Shadow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Connor! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shadow thows a left - swing and a miss! Shadow misses with a few strikes there.
Connor drives through and clinches with Shadow against the cage.
Shadow tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Connor prevents the takedown attempt.
Connor jumps guard but Shadow stands there with Connor around his waist. Connor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shadow breaks the clinch.
Connor wants to clinch up but Shadow keeps it at a distance. No joy there for Shadow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Connor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shadow as he jumps to the side. Connor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shadow's waist but Shadow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Connor off to one side. Storm Shadow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Connor. Connor slips under a jab. Shadow gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shadow is on top in guard.
Shadow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connor is looking to stand up but Shadow isn't so interested in that idea. Shadow loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shadow throws a big right hand that misses. Connor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Shadow looks up at the clock and then as Connor takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Shadow smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Shadow is staying tight to Connor's torso, preventing him from escaping. Connor is pushing Shadow's head away, looking to escape. Shadow manages to hold on to the position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Shadow looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Connor is avoiding damage well.

Shadow misses with the ground and pound. Shadow in side control lands a decent elbow. Connor looks gassed! Shadow remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Connor takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shadow creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Shadow cracks Connor with a big elbow. Connor is looking to reverse the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shadow tries to advance to mount but can't. Connor is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Shadow landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Connor is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shadow is controlling him well. Shadow decides to stand back up. Connor tries to clinch up but Shadow circles away and keeps his distance. Shadow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Shadow stalks Connor and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Connor's face. Connor staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Rick Connor has been cut. Shadow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Connor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shadow scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shadow looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Connor takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Shadow scores with a jab. Connor acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A combination from Shadow does no damage. Shadow misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Shadow fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Connor tests Shadow's chin there with a solid looking shot. Connor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shadow falls off balance throwing a combination
and Connor counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Storm Shadow dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rick Connor's cut. That's time! Shadow's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Connor uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shadow. Shadow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Shadow looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Connor is trying to stand up here but Shadow is controlling him well. Shadow working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
