Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Parke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parke moves away from the strike by Morgan. Parke throws a quick inside leg kick. Morgan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Norman Parke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parke instigates a clinch. A short right from Parke. Parke keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Morgan's efforts to push away. Morgan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Morgan breaks from the clinch.
Parke closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morgan's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morgan pushes Parke off and scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A head punch blocked on the inside by Morgan. Morgan wants to break free but Parke has control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Parke is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Morgan to the mat. Morgan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Parke trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Morgan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Parke throws a big right hand that misses. Parke lands a couple of digs. Parke scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Parke loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Morgan keeping moving, preventing Parke from controlling successfully. Morgan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Morgan wants to get back to his feet but Parke is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Morgan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Parke engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Morgan wants to stand and escape but Parke is having none of it.

Parke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morgan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Parke content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Morgan keeping full guard, as Parke tries to pass. Parke trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Parke throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Morgan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parke throws a big elbow that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Parke ducks under a wild hook from Morgan. Parke shoots in and bounces Morgan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Parke's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Parke sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Morgan's guard. Parke stops Morgan from getting back to his feet.
Morgan is refusing to be controlled, as Parke sits in half guard. Morgan pushes Parke off looking to stand but Parke dives back in and keeps control.
Ground and pound from Parke. Parke takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Parke stops Morgan from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Parke scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Morgan is staying active underneath Parke, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Morgan is trying to stand back up but Parke is controlling him
Parke tries to pass to full mount but Morgan defends it. Morgan has hold of Parke's hands but Parke slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Parke working Morgan over with strikes. Parke is trying to control. Morgan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Parke stops Morgan from getting back to his feet.
Parke looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Parke moves into full mount! Morgan won't be happy about that! Parke is landing with some decent strikes but Morgan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. This has been an exciting period of action! Parke lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morgan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Parke. Morgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Andrew Morgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morgan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Norman Parke has been cut. Parke scores with a push kick. Morgan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A good leg kick by Parke. Parke connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Parke looks to land a right hand but Morgan moved out of range. Morgan misses with a series of wild punches.
Parke throws out a loose jab but Morgan uses good head movement to avoid it. Morgan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Morgan there as he acknowledges the shot. Parke lands a glancing blow to the side of Morgan's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parke connects with a leg kick. Morgan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Morgan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Parke has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Parke wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Morgan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Parke to score with a decent uppercut. Morgan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Morgan misses with a few strikes there.
Parke swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Morgan misses with a looping left. A combination from Morgan does no damage. Parke steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Morgan. Parke bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Morgan's head backwards. Morgan thuds his right hand into Parke's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Parke staying out of range there. Parke lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Morgan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Parke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Parke dips to his left and cracks Morgan with an uppercut! Parke has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Morgan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Parke connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Morgan scrambles back to his feet. Some wild striking there from Morgan.

He turned his hip over nicely there. Parke shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morgan's guard. Morgan wants to stand up but Parke is controlling him. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Morgan thows a left - swing and a miss! Parke looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Parke darts in and clinches Morgan up against the cage. Parke content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Norman Parke dominated that fourth round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Parke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Morgan wants to get back to his feet. Parke throwing shots but Morgan is blocking nicely. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Parke lands a nice short elbow. Parke is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Parke with the ground and pound from mount. The referee warns Morgan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Morgan is squirming around, avoiding Parke's attempts to control the action. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parke raining down shots from the mount! Parke lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Morgan is rocked! Parke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parke can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morgan is looking to escape. Oh Morgan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Morgan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Parke tries to control but Morgan wriggling away. Morgan seems to have got his legs back now. Parke cracks Morgan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Andrew Morgan's cut is getting worse. Parke looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Morgan covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
