Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malakai Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Markov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Some Russian rap. Malakai Rex is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malakai Rex! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Markov! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Markov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rex looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Rex looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rex fails with an attempt to clinch.
Markov misses with a jab to the body
and Rex counters with a nice uppercut. Rex scoring well with a low kick there.
Rex throws a leg kick but Markov sees it coming and moves out of range. Markov misses with a two punch combination.
Markov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Markov scores with a spinning back kick! Markov throws a half hearted mid kick. Rex misses with a head kick.
Rex throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. This has been an exciting period of action! Rex slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Markov's coach down at The Coffee Shop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Markov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Rex fails in his attempt to clinch. Markov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rex is breathing heavily. Markov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rex tries to clinch but fails miserably and Markov counters with a good low kick that Rex was not able to check. Markov and Rex are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Markov throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Rex into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Markov knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fedor Markov! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Fedor Markov made sure he mentioned Machiavelli Boutique, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
