19 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kantaro Hoshino! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stormcrow slips under a jab from Hoshino. Hoshino takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A shot to the body from Stormcrow misses and Hoshino counters with a right hand to the body. Stormcrow fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Hoshino takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stormcrow lands with a hook. Hoshino tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Stormcrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hoshino swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice defenses there by Stormcrow. Stormcrow scores with a body shot.
Bowser Stormcrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stormcrow connects with a solid leg kick. Stormcrow fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hoshino takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hoshino moves out of range of the strikes. Stormcrow throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hoshino.

Stormcrow misses the shot to the body. Stormcrow gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hoshino. Stormcrow gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Bowser Stormcrow has been cut. Stormcrow scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Hoshino uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stormcrow.

Stormcrow darts in trying to clinch and Stormcrow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hoshino looks like he wants to counter punch here. A cross from Stormcrow lands. Hoshino has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Stormcrow is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hoshino has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Stormcrow. Stormcrow slips under a jab. Stormcrow is looking to counter with head kicks. Stormcrow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hoshino looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hoshino avoids the body shot from Stormcrow.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hoshino checks a leg kick. Hoshino throws out a counter right but Stormcrow avoids it with no problem. Stormcrow throws a low kick but Hoshino moves out of range easily. Stormcrow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoshino moves away. Stormcrow misses with a right hand and Hoshino counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Stormcrow takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hoshino's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Stormcrow throws a chopping leg kick but Hoshino manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hoshino looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Stormcrow throws a leg kick that is checked and Hoshino cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stormcrow throws a front kick aimed at Hoshino's knee but Hoshino avoids it well. A little jabbing left from Hoshino on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Stormcrow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Hoshino makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A slow jab from Stormcrow misses its intended target. Hoshino swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Hoshino lands a big uppercut and Stormcrow crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Stormcrow looks OK. Hoshino waves Stormcrow back to his feet!
Stormcrow is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stormcrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hoshino swats him away and circles back towards the center. Oh Stormcrow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stormcrow ducks under a wild hook from Hoshino. Stormcrow throws a leg kick that is checked and Hoshino counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
