Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evil Kullervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Lockyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kullervo comes to the cage accompanied by Kullervo Entrance Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evil Kullervo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darren Lockyer! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Lockyer. Kullervo does a little dance to reset his feet. Kullervo throws a combination that misses and Lockyer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lockyer misses with a short punch on the inside. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kullervo. Lockyer working aggressively here.
Lockyer takes a shot to the head. Lockyer leaning his opponent against the cage. Kullervo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Lockyer lands with a light punch inside. Lockyer doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kullervo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lockyer's elbow. A battle for position here, against the cage. Lockyer can't find room to land a body shot as Kullervo controls the action.
Lockyer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kullervo lands a hook that snaps the head of Lockyer backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lockyer lands a body shot. Kullervo misses with a punch to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lockyer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kullervo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kullervo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kullervo looking to control.
Kullervo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kullervo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Lockyer is looking to work some ground and pound but Kullervo has wrist control. Lockyer throwing strikes but missing. Lockyer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kullervo looking for a guillotine here but Lockyer defends easily.
Lockyer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kullervo's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kullervo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lockyer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kullervo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Kullervo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lockyer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lockyer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lockyer landing some decent shots from guard.
It looks like Evil Kullervo has been cut. Lockyer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lockyer is looking to stand up but Kullervo won't let him. Lockyer is in close to Kullervo's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lockyer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lockyer trying to control the position from guard on top but Kullervo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lockyer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kullervo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lockyer throws out the jab. Lockyer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Lockyer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Darren Lockyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kullervo scores with a leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Lockyer misses the target. Kullervo half committed to a counter leg kick. Lockyer misses with a low kick.
Lockyer throws a hook but Kullervo blocks it. Kullervo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lockyer. Lockyer throws a lazy uppercut
and Kullervo counters with a nice leg kick. Lockyer with a nice cross. Lockyer checks a leg kick. Lockyer sizes up Kullervo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lockyer drops Kullervo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kullervo! Lockyer dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darren Lockyer! Darren Lockyer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. In defeat, Evil Kullervo stepped up to the mic, saying 'I think my heart is broken.'.
