Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maroun Caboul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny Ruff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruff comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Live By The Gun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Donny Ruff acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maroun Caboul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donny Ruff! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Donny Ruff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Caboul gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ruff counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Caboul is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ruff is defending well. Ruff manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Caboul is looking to work some ground and pound but Ruff has wrist control. Ruff is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Caboul is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caboul lands a couple of decent looking shots. Caboul has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Caboul working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ruff's head. Ruff looking to control.
Caboul content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caboul wants to stand but Ruff has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Caboul controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Caboul stopping the sweep attempt from Ruff.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caboul engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Ruff looking for a sweep. Not yet Ruff, not yet. Ruff keeps trying to improve his position. Ruff is trying to hold Caboul in close to prevent damage but Caboul has managed to pass into half guard.
Ruff wants to control but Caboul is keeping busy and won't allow it. Caboul is working for a kimura but Ruff is defending it quite comfortably.
Caboul keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ruff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caboul. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ruff is trying to get back to full guard. Caboul takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Caboul could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruff wants to improve his position but Caboul is controlling well.
Ruff has hold of Caboul's hands but Caboul slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ruff preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Caboul lands strikes from half guard. Caboul looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ruff moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ruff can do anything to dispel that myth. Caboul is in close to Ruff's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Caboul's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Caboul with a nice head shot there. Ruff can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Caboul controls the pace. Caboul stopping the sweep attempt from Ruff. Ruff not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Caboul with a nice head shot there. Ruff being controlled here, momentarily. Caboul seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ruff for as long as he can get away with. Caboul's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ruff is trying to control the position but Caboul postures up. Ruff working a defensive guard but Caboul manages to pass into side control anyway.
Ruff is trying to get back to half guard. Caboul trying to control the position but Ruff is working away. Caboul has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Caboul tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caboul has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caboul is working Ruff over with some ground and pound from side control. Ruff takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Caboul taking a breather here. Caboul landing a few strikes. Caboul in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Caboul cracks Ruff with a big elbow. Caboul in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Ruff is trying to get back to half guard. Caboul in side control lands a decent elbow. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ruff is trying to control Caboul's posture but Caboul avoids it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caboul wants to control but Ruff is keeping him busy. Caboul controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maroun Caboul dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fighters circle momentarily. Caboul darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Caboul fails to land the takedown. Caboul takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nice takedown defense from Caboul. No joy for Ruff on that attempt. Ruff misses with a few strikes there.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ruff enables Caboul to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ruff manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Maroun Caboul overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Caboul wants to control from the top but Ruff keeps moving. Ruff is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Caboul lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caboul cracks Ruff with a solid left hand. Caboul stopping the sweep attempt from Ruff. Caboul is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Caboul is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caboul lands a couple of elbows. Ruff trying to control the position here. Caboul makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Caboul's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Caboul is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ruff can do to turn this around? Ruff has momentary wrist control but Caboul slips an elbow through the middle.
Ruff is rocked! Caboul is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ruff is still in real trouble! Can Caboul finish him? Ruff looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Caboul puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Caboul content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Caboul lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ruff quite badly. Ruff pulls Caboul in close trying to recover. Caboul postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ruff on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ruff doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maroun Caboul! In defeat, Donny Ruff stepped up to the mic, saying 'This Is The Name Of The Game Ya Know You Win Some You Lose Some Unfortunately This Time I Lost I Trained And Preped So Much For This Fight And Its Been A Great Time See Y'all Later Folks'.
