PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Macadam Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ava Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel has chosen A Moment as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird throws a leg kick which misses Noel's front leg but catches the back leg as Noel tries to avoid it.
Noel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Noel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Noel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ava Noel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baird takes a body punch but keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Baird dives in for a single leg takedown but Noel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Baird walks straight into a right hand from Noel - that's dropped him! Noel jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Baird from any more punishment! Baird complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
