Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Troy Jolley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Batchelor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Jolley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rory Batchelor!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jolley gets a double leg takedown into Batchelor's guard.
Our spies down at at Quick Fingers BEST BANG FOR BUCK Gym inform us that Batchelor has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Batchelor looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jolley wants to control from the top but Batchelor keeps moving.
Jolley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jolley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jolley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Jolley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Batchelor, who protects the arm well.
Jolley is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Batchelor's shoulder. That is not cool.

Batchelor is trying to control Jolley's posture but Jolley avoids it.

Jolley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Batchelor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Batchelor tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jolley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Jolley stands up and beckons Batchelor to his feet.

Jolley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Batchelor was covering up waiting for the punch and Jolley finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jolley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jolley tries to free his leg and advance position but Batchelor is retaining full guard.
Batchelor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jolley stands and throws Batchelor's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Batchelor on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Jolley looks up at the clock and then as Batchelor takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jolley smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Batchelor is not content to let Jolley control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Batchelor wants to get back to striking at distance but Jolley won't allow it.
Jolley is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Batchelor is defending well.

The referee is keeping an eye on Jolley - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jolley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jolley looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Batchelor shoots in looking for a takedown. Jolley tries to sprawl out of it but Batchelor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jolley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jolley has taken the fight to the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jolley is trying to pull guard but Batchelor has him pressed against the cage.
Jolley is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Batchelor pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Rory Batchelor will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Batchelor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jolley is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jolley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Batchelor is refusing to be controlled, as Jolley sits in half guard.

Jolley takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Jolley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Batchelor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jolley is looking to take a break and control but Batchelor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Batchelor is letting Jolley control him for a moment.
Jolley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Batchelor can do to turn this around?

Jolley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Batchelor keeps working.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Troy Jolley showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Jolley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
