The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauwens throws a leg kick that misses.
Ivanov darts in looking for a takedown but Bauwens gets double underhooks and turns Ivanov into the cage.
A swing and a miss from Bauwens.
Ivanov has a takedown stuffed.
Bauwens looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Bauwens circles away from the clinch attempt.

Ivanov wants to clinch up but Bauwens keeps it at a distance.
Bauwens throws a leg kick but Ivanov sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ivanov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bauwens's guard.

Ivanov moves in looking to clinch but Bauwens pushes him off.

Ivanov is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Bauwens like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Bauwens from another fist facial!
