Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Kenddosin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gustavo Aldo! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Aldo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Aldo. Kenddosin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Aldo avoids a wild elbow strike from Kenddosin. Aldo's coach down at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Aldo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Aldo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A short uppercut from Aldo. Aldo managing to block the knees to the body from Kenddosin.

Aldo tries to land knees in the clinch but Kenddosin avoids the damage to the body. Kenddosin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Kenddosin throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Aldo digs a right hand into Kenddosin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kenddosin's gas tank. Kenddosin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Aldo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Aldo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Aldo lands with a right to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice left hand lands by Aldo.

Aldo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kenddosin blocks it with crossed arms. Kenddosin breaks from the clinch.
Aldo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kenddosin's hands. Aldo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kenddosin. A nice inside leg kick there by Aldo. That's going to slow Kenddosin down. Kenddosin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Aldo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kenddosin has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

A nice right hand lands inside from Aldo. Aldo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kenddosin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kenddosin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Aldo avoids it. Aldo scores with a hook to the body. Aldo trying to land knees to the body.
Kenddosin wants to get back to striking at distance but Aldo won't allow it.

Kenddosin looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kenddosin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Aldo has him pressed against the ropes. Kenddosin tries to break free but Aldo pushes him back against the ropes. Aldo tries a knee to the head but Kenddosin blocks it.

Kenddosin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Aldo is defending well for now. Aldo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Aldo lands on the inside with an uppercut. Aldo lands on the inside with an uppercut. Oh Kenddosin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kenddosin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Aldo pushes off with a quick right hook! Kenddosin goes down! Kenddosin tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Aldo moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustavo Aldo! Gustavo Aldo bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
