The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lie to the mat! Lie manages to get full guard.
Lie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silva controls the pace.
Lie is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea.
Silva slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Silva looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Silva is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Silva trying to mount his opponent but Lie defends it.
Silva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva wants to take a breather but Lie is having none of it.

Lie wants to get back to his feet but Silva drags him back down.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lie keeps working.
Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Lie is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Silva take his back! Uh oh - Silva has got a rear naked choke here! Lie is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
