The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tolki moves into range and clinches up with Rydeland.

Tolki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rydeland sprawls well. Rydeland wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tolki gets slowly back to his feet.

Tolki shoots in looking for a takedown. Rydeland tries to sprawl out of it but Tolki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rydeland manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tolki moves in looking to clinch but Rydeland pushes him off.
Rydeland lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tolki circles away quickly and effectively.

Rydeland scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rydeland lands a nice shot to the body.
John Rydeland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rydeland cracks Tolki with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tolki rushes Rydeland and presses him up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Rydeland dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rydeland stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rydeland wants it to stay on the feet.

It looks like Jukka Tolki has been cut.
Rydeland is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Tolki is rocked!

Oooooh!!! Rydeland has knocked Tolki down with a huge combo! Rydeland steps away and waves a wobbly Tolki back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Tolki is still on wobbly legs! Can Rydeland finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tolki changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Tolki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rydeland avoids it really well and circles away.
Tolki needs to keep his hands up - Rydeland had a free shot at his head there.
Tolki tries to clinch but Rydeland moves away

and Rydeland counters with a crisp one two that drops Tolki ! Rydeland thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tolki to his feet! Tolki is in big trouble!
Rydeland connects with a superb combination that knocks Tolki out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Rydeland before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Tolki !
