Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Santos Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Blas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gil Blas was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green closes the distance and clinches.
Blas successfully pulls guard.
Green loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Green really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Green drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Green jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Blas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Green distracts Blas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Green drops back, looking for a kneebar! Blas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Blas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Blas!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blas stands up.

Blas moves into the clinch successfully.
Green is trying to push Blas away but Blas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Green goes for a takedown attempt but Blas pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Green shoots for a takedown but Blas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Blas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Green is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Blas stands up and waves to Green to follow him.
Blas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Green shoots in but Blas avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santos Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Blas counters with a series of strikes. Green will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blas lands a brutal head kick. Green looks out on his feet and Blas throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
