Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rambo First Blood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Galvao! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! First Blood throws a series of punches but Galvao moves out of range. A combination from First Blood does no damage. First Blood looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Galvao is fending him off so far but First Blood persists. Nope, Galvao circles away and we're back to standing. First Blood fails in his attempt to clinch. Rambo First Blood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. First Blood fails with a takedown attempt from distance. First Blood misses with a hook. Galvao ducked under it nicely. First Blood tries for a takedown but Galvao sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rambo First Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him. First Blood tries to clinch up. First Blood misses with a takedown attempt - Galvao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. First Blood is breathing heavily. First Blood avoids the head kick by Galvao.

and First Blood counters with a good low kick that Galvao was not able to check.
That's one minute gone in the round. First Blood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. First Blood gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Galvao can't get the takedown.
Galvao turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Galvao manages to end up in side control. Galvao tries for a kimura but First Blood is defending well. Galvao tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Galvao trying to control the action but First Blood is working from the bottom. Galvao tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Galvao has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Galvao thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. A lull in the action here. Galvao has knee on belly and moves into mount. First Blood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Galvao on the ground. First Blood wants to hold on but Galvao pushes him away. Galvao goes for an armbar but he's not got it… First Blood turns into him and now he's in Galvao's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Galvao controls First Blood momentarily but First Blood frees himself. Galvao has his foot on First Blood's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. First Blood works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Galvao wants to sweep here but First Blood controlling him for the moment. Galvao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. First Blood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Galvao is tightening it up a little... First Blood has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! First Blood reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! First Blood taps out! nice BJJ there by Galvao!
