The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Technique uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stephens.
Nice takedown defense from Stephens. No joy for Technique on that attempt.
A good leg kick by Technique.
Stephens will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Technique throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
It looked like Stephens was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Technique.
Technique gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stephens.
No joy there for Technique, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Technique counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Technique.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stephens ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Technique tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stephens swivels and escapes.
Tony Stephens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Immortal Technique.
Stephens looks to throw the jab but Technique is out of range.
Technique takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Technique throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stephens tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Technique is in Stephens's guard.
Stephens wants to sweep but no luck.
Technique chips away with some ground and pound.
Stephens utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stephens is trying to control the position but Technique postures up.

Technique chips away with some ground and pound.
Technique drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stephens manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Technique has Stephens in his guard.
Technique pushes Stephens off and gets back to his feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Stephens misses the target.
Technique avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stephens fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Stephens swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stephens throws a hook but Technique avoids it easily.
Tony Stephens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Technique changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stephens tries to avoid it but Technique manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stephens to the ground. Stephens escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Technique lands a nice shot to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Technique closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stephens to the mat! Stephens manages to get full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Technique connects with a right that clearly hurt Stephens. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Technique proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Stephens collapses and taps out under the pressure!
