Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Bret Ireland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Denis Hussey!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ireland moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ireland tries to clinch but Hussey moves out of range.
Hussey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ireland counters with a two punch combo.

Ireland clinches up with Hussey and pushes him back against the cage.

Hussey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hussey throws a sloppy head kick

and Ireland counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Hussey can't keep his opponent in guard - Ireland advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Ireland is keen to just control but Hussey is a slippery customer.

It looked like Ireland was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hussey is defended easily by Ireland.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bret Ireland.
Well Ireland has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
