The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Piatek.
Piatek shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pestrovic is trying to defend but Piatek finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pestrovic is trying is best to control the position here.
Piatek prevents Pestrovic from improving his position.
Pestrovic could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Piatek looking for a submission but Pestrovic manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
