Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tavares kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Devour the Day - Get Out of My Way. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavares throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Santiago Diablo has been cut.
Diablo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tavares defends well and Diablo ends up having to push Tavares into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Diablo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tavares fails to land with a series of punches.
We've been hearing reports that Tavares has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Diablo avoids the body shot from Tavares.
Tavares throws a series of punches but Diablo avoids them all with ease.

Henrique Tavares has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santiago Diablo.
