Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Pouncey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Black Belt Jones Theme Song, you Jive Turkey!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Kelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kelvin Pouncey! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pouncey misses with a hook to the body
and Kelly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kelly sends Pouncey crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kelly is motioning to the referee to let Pouncey up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Kelly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelly throws a sloppy head kick and Pouncey moves out of range easily. A little jabbing left from Pouncey on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kelly lands a jab to Pouncey's midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kelly misses with a head kick.
Pouncey with the counter takedown but Kelly avoids it easily. Pouncey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelly moves away. Kelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pouncey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pouncey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kelly circles away. Kelly missing with a left hand there. Pouncey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly misses with a straight right. A little jabbing left from Pouncey on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kelly misses with a body kick. Pouncey feints the counter takedown. Jim Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pouncey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kelly looks to land a right hand but Pouncey moved out of range. Jim Kelly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pouncey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kelly quickly recovers to half guard. Kelly is looking to get back to is feet but Pouncey passes into side control.
Kelly on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kelly tries to get out of the position. An elbow from Pouncey crashes against the mat.
Pouncey controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pouncey lands a decent elbow from side control. Kelly parries the strikes from Pouncey easily there. Pouncey is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kelly to escape.
Pouncey working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Pouncey throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kelly works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Pouncey throwing shots but Kelly is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pouncey thows a huge punch but Kelly dodges it nicely.
Kelly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pouncey on the ground. Pouncey working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pouncey controlling the action here. Kelly wants to improve his position but Pouncey is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pouncey passes to side control. Pouncey throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Pouncey looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Kelly is avoiding damage well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Kelly dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Pouncey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kelly to the ground. Pouncey is now in Kelly's guard. Kelly is looking to stand back up but Pouncey counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kelly. Pouncey wants to take a breather but Kelly is having none of it. Kelly won't allow Pouncey to pass to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kelly is refusing to be controlled, as Pouncey sits in half guard. Kelly avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pouncey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly has hold of Pouncey's hands but Pouncey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Pouncey is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pouncey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kelly is just riding it out for now. Pouncey eventually gives up the hold. Pouncey wants to take a breather but Kelly is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pouncey takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pouncey uses his free foot to push down on Kelly's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kelly. Pouncey has control of Kelly's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kelly regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Pouncey looking to control but Kelly is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kelvin Pouncey has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pouncey thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Pouncey scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like Jim Kelly has been cut. Pouncey lands a big shot to the head and Kelly winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
