Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Young Buck, TI, The Game, & Ludacris - Stomp. Taslim has chosen La Coka Nostra - as his entrance music. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes scores with a kick to the body.
Taslim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taslim wants it to stay on the feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Taslim misses the target.
Barnes lands the left hand.
Taslim wants to clinch.
Barnes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Taslim.
Taslim closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barnes circles away.
A quick step to the side and Barnes tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Barnes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Taslim is defended easily by Barnes.
No luck for Taslim with that takedown attempt.
Brady Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Taslim.

A little feinted left hand from Barnes on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Barnes stuffs the takedown.
Taslim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barnes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Barnes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Taslim momentarily.
John Taslim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barnes throws a quick inside leg kick.
Taslim scores with a jab to the head.
Taslim takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Barnes scores with a three punch combo!

Barnes lands a nice looking kick to the body. Taslim takes a step back to recover.
Taslim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barnes.
Taslim misses with a takedown attempt
and Barnes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Taslim fails with a takedown attempt.
Taslim throws a sloppy head kick and Barnes moves out of range easily.
Taslim shoots for a takedown but Barnes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taslim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Barnes seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Taslim tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Barnes counters with a nice kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barnes throws a series of strikes that have Taslim backpedaling.
Barnes scores with a one two! Taslim had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Taslim is rocked!
Barnes dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Taslim has had enough and taps out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Brady Barnes!
Brady Barnes very nearly forgot to thank The Empire Clothing and Laundry amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
