Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barry MCee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ko Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ko Power will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry MCee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ko Power!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Power clinches up with MCee and pushes him back against the cage.
Power lands a nice elbow.
MCee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Power after a bit of a struggle.

Power breaks from the clinch.

MCee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Power's half guard.

MCee stands up from half guard.
MCee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Power.
MCee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

MCee scores with a takedown into Power's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MCee prevents Power from getting back to his feet.
MCee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
MCee connects with a couple of short punches.

MCee stands and throws Power's legs to the side, diving into side control.
MCee controlling the position.
Power parries the strikes from MCee easily there. MCee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Power to escape.
Power is working to avoid the ground and pound but MCee connects with a decent elbow.
MCee throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Power felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Power is trying to get back to his feet.
Power is trying to escape the position but MCee is controlling the position.

MCee working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Power is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but MCee has just dragged him back down to the mat.

MCee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Power is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
MCee tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
MCee looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Power is avoiding damage well.
Power tries to escape but MCee is in control.
You can see the frustration on Power's face as MCee controls the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
MCee tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MCee works to advance to full mount. Power defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Power taking shots to the head.
MCee looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Power is trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Power looks for the body kick but MCee saw that one coming.
Power throws a body kick that misses.
Power misses with a body shot.
Power tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

MCee gets a double leg takedown into Power's guard.
MCee is looking to work some ground and pound but Power has wrist control.
MCee passes into half guard.
Well, if MCee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MCee stops Power from getting back to his feet.

MCee wants to work for an arm triangle but Power is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Power really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MCee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Power is trying to stand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Power can do anything to dispel that myth.
MCee stalling.
MCee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Barry MCee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
MCee is taking a breather. Power says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
MCee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Power can do to turn this around?
MCee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

MCee feints and as Power raises his hands in defense, MCee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Power is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst MCee is controlling him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
MCee passes into half guard.
MCee with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

MCee decides to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Power misses with a head kick.
Power tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. MCee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

MCee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Power manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MCee lands a couple of digs.
MCee throwing strikes but missing.
MCee slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barry MCee dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Power gets caught napping as MCee dives in and scores a takedown. Power manages to retain guard.

MCee gets to his feet. Power looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A big right from Power misses.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Power enables MCee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Power manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Power has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes MCee off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Power misses with a body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Power lands with a slapping head kick.
Power changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Power throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Power tries to score with a low kick but MCee moves his leg out of the way.
MCee is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Power.
Power keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

MCee gets tackled into the cage by Power. Power maintains the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Power landing some nice looking knees to the body.
MCee avoids the elbow strike from Power, against the cage.
Power is pressed up against the cage. MCee has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Power down to the mat. Power avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Power throws a good cross that connects.
Power goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Barry MCee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
An inside leg kick lands from Power.

MCee throws a nice looking combination but Power bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Power tries a head kick but it misses.
MCee takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Power misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
MCee walks forward, straight into a front kick from Power.
Power throws a quick head kick that skims the top of MCee's head.
A jab from Power finds it's way through MCee's defenses.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
MCee blocks a head kick by Power.
MCee tries a head kick but it misses.
ko Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Power throws a series of punches but MCee avoids them all with ease.

Power clinches.
Power avoiding damage as MCee throws knees to the body.
Power lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Power breaks from the clinch.
Power lands with a nice body punch.
Power lands an overhand right.
Power looks to land a combination but MCee avoids it well.
Power throws a low kick but MCee avoids it.

MCee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Power is not content to let MCee control the position.
MCee trying to control the pace.
MCee not landing any meaningful shots this time.
MCee controlling the action here.
ko Power has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Power tries to kick MCee off but MCee keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
