The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Simpson is out of range.
Simpson cracks Turner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Turner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Simpson tries to avoid it but Turner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Simpson to the ground. Simpson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Turner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Simpson is fending him off so far but Turner persists. Nope, Simpson circles away and we're back to standing.
Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kevin Turner.
