Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Bruce will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Wade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Bruce! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wade sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Wade fails with the takedown. Wade really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fight stays on the outside here - Wade looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wade walks into a stiff left hand from Bruce. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bruce fails with the takedown and Wade connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bruce tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wade swats him away and circles back towards the center. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bruce. Bruce wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wade keeps working. Bruce remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Bruce wants to stand but Wade is controlling his arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruce trying to control the action but Wade is working from the bottom. Wade tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Wade's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wade feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wade is breathing heavily. Bruce looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruce will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wade wants to stand but Bruce is controlling his posture from full guard. Bruce throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wade advances position into side control! Bruce tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wade happy to just control the position for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bruce is trying to work for a sweep but Wade has mounted him! Bruce is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wade controlling his opponent. Wade breaks from Bruce's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bruce is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bruce tries to control the position but Wade now has his back.
What can Bruce do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Wade is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bruce knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bruce for a finish. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bruce is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Wade off. It looks like it's working - Wade slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Bruce displaying calm under pressure there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Bruce dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bruce fails with the takedown and Wade counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bruce is looking to control Wade's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bruce avoid being mounted? Wade works his foot free and advances to mount. Wade controlling the pace for now. Wade lands a big elbow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wade controlling the position easily from mount. Bruce wants to control but Wade is having none of it. Wade looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bruce tries to hold on but Wade postures up. Wade with a couple of short strikes. BOOM! Wade connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Bruce wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. What can Bruce do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Bruce covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruce trying to control the hands but Wade breaks the grip. Wade landing with strikes. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Wade is looking to finish with some ground and pound! I really don't envy Bruce right now.
Wade biding his time, looking for the opening.
Wade doesn't have the hooks in and Bruce manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wade controls Bruce momentarily but Bruce frees himself. Bruce must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bruce trying to control the position from guard on top but Wade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wade wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Wade is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wade tries to pass to full mount but Bruce defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Wade dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

James Wade is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bruce misses with a takedown attempt and Wade counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bruce won't be happy with that. Bruce trying his best to control but Wade has mounted him. Wade moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bruce has worked his arm free - good work by Bruce!
Wade has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bruce shoots and misses and Wade counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bruce is lucky that one didn't land flush. No joy there for Bruce, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wade shoots in for a takedown but Bruce shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wade loads up on a big right hand but Bruce slips the punch. Bruce has his takedown stuffed and Wade counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bruce! James Wade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Bruce. Wade lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wade get's back to his feet. Bruce darts in and clinches Wade up against the cage. Wade jumps guard and drags Bruce to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Wade has a closed guard, preventing Bruce from standing up. Wade trying to control the position here. Bruce trying to control but Wade is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruce postures up.
Wade pulls Bruce in to control the position. James Wade overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wade working a defensive guard here.
Wade trying to control the position here. Wade on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wade tries to get out of the position. Wade lands a good elbow from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruce trying to control the position from guard on top but Wade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wade is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bruce wants to get up but he can't break Wade's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bruce stopping the sweep attempt from Wade. Bruce passes Wade's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wade tries to get to full guard but Bruce has control of the leg. Bruce is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Wade slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Wade controls Bruce momentarily but Bruce frees himself. Wade pulls Bruce in close to prevent any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! James Wade showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wade has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
