Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aggravated Battery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Humphry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Battery comes to the cage accompanied by Wife Beater. Humphry has chosen Iggy And The Stooges - "Search And Destroy" as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aggravated Battery! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derek Humphry! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Humphry throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Battery sees it coming and avoids it easily. Humphry misses with a series of wild punches.
Humphry throws a nice looking combination but Battery bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Battery misses with a takedown attempt - Humphry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Battery closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Battery is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Humphry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Humphry keeping his opponent close. Humphry tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Battery tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Battery looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Humphry is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Battery looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Humphry is avoiding damage well.
Battery throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Humphry is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Humphry is controlling Battery's trapped leg to prevent Battery from advancing to side control. Humphry is looking to improve his position.
Battery is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Humphry is trying to stand.
Battery is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Humphry has managed to free his arm - good work. Humphry pushes Battery off looking to stand but Battery dives back in and keeps control.
Battery has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Humphry defend it? Battery steps over the head and cranks it - Humphry is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Battery!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Aggravated Battery! Aggravated Battery retains his heavyweight title!
