The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazari is looking to land body kicks.
McCormick scores with a nice head shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nazari has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McCormick is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nazari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McCormick throws a series of punches but Nazari moves out of range.
Kenny McCormick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Nazari . No joy for McCormick on that attempt.
Nazari connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McCormick momentarily.

Nazari looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McCormick with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nazari is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McCormick has managed to free his arm - good work.

Nazari tries to pass the half guard into mount. McCormick knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

It looks like Kenny McCormick has been cut.

McCormick is controlling an arm, preventing Nazari from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

A very excited looking Abioye Nazari rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
