The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Craig fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pete on the side of the head.

Nice uppercut lands for Pete. That snapped Craig's head back.

Pete lands a big head kick that sends Craig tumbling to the mat! Pete takes a step backwards and waves Craig back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jimmie Craig has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pete is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Craig flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Craig is out cold! Pete holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Texas Pete!
After winning the bout, Texas Pete thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
