Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Tinkl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Lou Hole!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hole misses with a kick to the body.
Tinkl swinging wildly here.

Tinkl needs to keep his hands up - Hole had a free shot at his head there.
Hole throws a chopping leg kick but Tinkl manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Tinkl ducks right into an uppercut from Hole.

Hole swats away the attempt to clinch by Tinkl.
Tinkl shoots in but Hole avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Tinkl counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Hole holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Tinkl is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hole sees it coming and defends easily.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Hole tries to get to full guard but Tinkl has control of the leg.
Hole told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

A close round but Lou Hole will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hole fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Tinkl. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hole throws the left hand but Tinkl avoids the punch easily.
Hole lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tinkl walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tinkl takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Hole stalks Tinkl and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tinkl's face. Tinkl staggers backwards, shaken.

Tinkl drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hole sprawls and moves away.
Hole lands with an overhand left.
Tinkl fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hole manages to avoid it.
Billy Tinkl is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hole looks to land a right hand but Tinkl moved out of range.
Hole fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tinkl has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Hole lands a nice shot that snaps Tinkl's head back.

Lou Hole seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Hole moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Tinkl! Hole continues to tee off on Tinkl, landing with a left and a right! Hole connects with a right hand that leaves Tinkl sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Hole!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lou Hole!
Lou Hole took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
