Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshido Nakamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vos comes to the cage accompanied by Three Little Birds. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Vos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshido Nakamara! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vos misses with a series of wild punches.
Nakamara gets a clinch. A short right from Vos. Vos will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nakamara up against the cage. The referee calls for Vos to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vos lands a hook to the side of the head. Vos makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamara drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vos gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Vos stops a takedown attempt from Nakamara.
Nakamara letting Vos take a breather here. Nakamara jumps guard but Vos stands there with Nakamara around his waist. Nakamara gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jake Vos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshido Nakamara. Vos lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Vos prevents the takedown attempt.
Vos gets through Nakamara's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamara tries for a takedown. No joy.
Vos is struggling to control the position. Nakamara pulls Vos into guard.
Vos postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nakamara not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vos advances to half guard. Nakamara taking some punishment here, with Vos in his half guard. Nakamara looking for submissions off his back. Vos working the head and body with strikes. Vos trying to control from half guard but Nakamara is working away. Vos slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nakamara keeps working. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Nakamara gets full guard. Nakamara is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vos defends well. Nakamara is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Vos trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakamara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've been hearing that Vos has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Vos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vos sitting in guard here, content to control. Vos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Vos landing some decent shots from guard. Nakamara tries to land a sweep but no joy. Vos controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Vos advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vos is looking to take a break and control but Nakamara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vos working the head with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Vos dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Vos connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Vos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nakamara tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Nakamara shoots for a takedown but Vos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nakamara looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Vos moves into range and connects with a jab. Nakamara closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nakamara goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vos rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Nakamara's guard! Nice work there by Vos! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vos trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakamara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Vos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Nakamara looking for a guillotine here but Vos defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamara has momentary wrist control but Vos slips an elbow through the middle. Vos is pushing down on Nakamara's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nakamara is fighting to maintain full guard but Vos has managed to sneak the leg through. Nakamara is trying to control but can't.
Vos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Vos lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Vos seems to be looking for submissions.
Vos throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Vos is nestled in close to Nakamara, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vos is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nakamara sees it coming and defends easily. Nakamara is refusing to be controlled, as Vos sits in half guard. Nakamara is in trouble now - Vos has advanced to mount! Nakamara really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Vos landing strikes, looking to finish! Vos trying to control but he's not successful this time. Vos with the ground and pound from mount. Vos controlling his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vos trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vos wants to finish this one by submission but Nakamara is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Vos. Nakamara taking shots to the head. Vos breaks from Nakamara's wrist control and lands an elbow. Nakamara is looking to improve his position but Vos isn't that keen on the idea. Vos punishing his opponent with strikes. Nakamara is squirming around, avoiding Vos's attempts to control the action. Vos in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Vos looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Vos wants to control the pace but Nakamara is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakamara has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Nakamara is looking to escape here. Oh dear - Vos has locked on a rear naked choke here! Nakamara is tapping out! The fight is over!
